What Kinds Of Supports Make Sense For You?

Annapolis Valley Families Caring for Loved Ones with an Eating Disorder, Supports:

While we used to hold Support Group Meetings at the Louis Millett Community Centre in New Minas, we have had to change our way of meeting support needs in the community since the Pandemic. We may return to support group format in future – so keep your eye on this space for updates! For now we will continue to assist with one-on-one local meetings or support via text, email or phone.

The Closed Face Book Page:

Evidence based materials and information are regularly posted and updated here. Important and frequently requested materials are saved under “Files”, for easy searching. If Privacy settings are not updated friends and family may see that you are a member of our group. When circumstances do not allow you be away from home, this is a great option!

We Are Your Community!

Regardless of your circumstances you are not alone. It can feel like it at times and it is precisely at those times you should reach out. You have the resources now to reach out for the support when needed. We can help!
